Relay Product Line

Comparison of Relays

Compared with armature-based relays, reed relays can switch much faster, as the moving parts are small and lightweight. Also, they require less operating power and have lower contact resistance.  They also have higher breakdown voltages. They are mechanically simple, made for reliability and long life.

Reed Relays

These relays are made of semi conductor based IC's such as Transistor, Opto Mosfet, IGBT, etc. The primary advantage here is the switching frequency. They almost have infinite life span. SSR has higher ON state resistance  which makes the relay dissipate heat

Solid State Relays

These relays are simple in construction, can handle high current, costs lesser. It can also withstand harsh conditions. Although the switching frequency is very less for these relays. These are preferred in application where the relay is directly used to turn on a heavy AC/DC loads.
